Ball Bearings Available in all different configurations, deep groove ball bearings are found in a huge range of applications. Open, sealed or shielded we can help. Roller Bearings Roller bearings typically have a higher radial load capacity than ball bearings, but a low axial capacity and higher friction under axial loads. Angular Contact This type of bearing allows both radial and axial loads combined. The larger the contact angle – usually in the range of 10 to 45 degrees – the higher the axial load supported. Spherical Roller Bearings Offering an unequalled combination of high load capacity, high shock loads and self aligning ability, spherical roller bearings are found in all areas of light and heavy industry. Tapered Roller Bearings Comprising of an outer ring, inner ring and roller assembly, this type of bearing can take large axial forces. In many applications, they are used back-to-back, supporting the axial forces equally in either direction. Thrust Bearings Composed of either balls or rollers supported in a ring, these bearings can be used in thrust applications where there is little radial load present. Split Roller Bearings Available in both pillow block and flanged units, split roller bearings dramatically reduce downtime when compared to standard units. Ball Bearing Units These units are available in many different configurations, including pillow block, flange and take-up. The housings vary in materials, including cast iron and pressed steel. Needle Roller Bearings Both single and double row needle bearings are available, having very high load carrying capacities, and suitable for high speeds. Open and sealed versions are available. Sleeves Adapter sleeves are used for locating taper bored bearings onto a cylindrical shaft. They are available for both imperial and metric shafts. Super Precision Predominantly available in radial, single row angular contact and deep groove ball bearings. A variety of seals, shields and cages are available for most bearings. Cam Followers Cam followers are bearings with a stud incorporating needle rollers in a thick walled outer ring.They are designed to have minimal radial clearance to increase the loading capacity.
